Techart Program for the 997
TechArt goes to the cutting edge with their design for the new 997. To appreciate this vehicle is to study every angle; the contours of the aerodynamics are unlike anything presented by TechArt before.
The 997's program incorporates TechArt's commitment to form and function and offers a front lip spoiler, head lamp trim, side skirts, rear diffusor and a range of three rear wings. All components are made of PU-RIM. Most noteworthy are TechArt's Formula wheels in a new 20" fitment; 19" and 18" are also available. Additional performance modifications include sport exhaust, sport suspension and high performance engine tuning packages. Alu-line and carbon fiber interiors, are also available.

The 997 Carrera with TECHART aerodynamic upgrades including their largest
rear wing (the Type II) in the windtunnel.
At 140 km/h the front end lift is reduced from 11.92 Kg to 1.5 Kg. The rear end lift of
2.19 Kg is reversed into 3.75 Kg of downforce. This is accomplished with minimal drag.
The
factory coefficient of drag (CD) increases from 0.30 to 0.303.
